Gentle Giants
Although they look quite imposing in person, our horses come from breeding that have worked with people for hundreds of years, and those we choose to join our farm are particularly suited for interacting with the public.
Safety
For us, safety is for our attendees, our staff, and not least of all, our horses. We are thoughtful of the events we choose, when and how people can approach, and experience of our handlers.
Personality
Each of our horses have unique personalities, and ways of connecting with those who greet them. Some are shy, some are silly, and all love getting attention. We encourage attendees to make a friend and pick a favorite.
Family
Generations of Smiths have been raised alongside draft horses on our farm for over 100 years. We attend events every year with them, and those who attend our events are also treated as family.
